We then ask for a temperature check.
All driver bookings have included in them the cost of a bagged, new balaclava and glove set. This means they should not touch our wheels or helmets.
Before they race our karts the safety briefing given. This is a socially distanced, face to face experience with a staff member who will have taken a Rapid Flow test in the morning of their working day.
In addition, last summer we invested in a room dedicated to sterilising helmets and race suits.
The rental equipment is ‘drenched’ in a germicidal irradiation wash which then means they can be safely bagged and reissued.
The process takes a half hour and we bought new suits to allow for the delay in equipment being reissued.
Our clubhouse is airy and has many doors and windows which we keep open. Our outdoor balcony is also able to keep groups apart.
