Do You Take Cash?
Yes,
We take pre-bookings by cash if you call in during open hours.
We take walk-in with cash.
We don't do discounts for cash !!

What is your Cancellation Policy?
Cancellations/Refunds
- If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase for any reason, you have the right to cancel your Booking with at least 7 days notice of the date of the experience, and receive a refund minus administration charge of 8%.
- Within 7 days, but with at least 24 hours notice, we will happily rearrange your booking for you. We are happy to do this 3 times should you require.
- Within 24 hours we cannot move your booking.
- Wight Karting reserves the right to suspend or cancel a booked event at any time if it is judged to be unsafe
- Wight Karting is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by an event organiser, drivers booked or any other third party at any time

I want to bring just one driver, how can I book?
Our arrive and drive sessions are for you.
The easiest way to book is to download our APP, just search Wight Karting on your app store.
Or look for a BOOK button at the page top, select your YOUNGEST driver age to group with, then select time and date around when you plan to come, make Profile (even if you as a parent are not driving you need to 'own' your kids. Go to pay with apple pay or card. -
Ive never tried karting what shall I buy?
ARRIVE & DRIVE is our standard session for all abilities.
Its £52 per driver and as follows:
- Sign up and get your gear on
- Have an in person safety briefing (in which we will answer your questions too)
- Go out on track and test your kart for a lap to try out the controls and gain confidence
- then we give you a 15 minute race
- you get a printed laptime sheet for every race to see how youve done
- then race your second 15 minute
- go back into clubhouse and enjoy watching the res and see on our big screens how you compare!
We run all year round but have seasonal opening times for Arrive & Drive sessions for small groups and individuals.

Do you run on rainy days?
YES! Its more fun in the rain so the customers tell us!

We provide all the top racing rental wet suits and gloves.
We have a warm dry clubhouse for after.
So look no further for your rainy day activity with family or friends.

*We have never cancelled a booking because of the weather

What is a Junior Track Day and how do I book for my child?
Only 12 drivers bookable each morning.
£58 per young driver aged 8-15 (£50 for Driver Club Members ) running school holidays midweek
Our popularity and national recognition for these events is well deserved. We work very hard at having great, safe, adrenaline fuelled fun with the kids in school holidays. Book early to avoid disappointment.
Start time is usually: 9am for Registration
- Suited/safety clothing and kart prep scrutineering
- Practice Laps
- De-brief, tuition and drive skill instructions
- Qualifying sessions
- Driver assessment and grid placement
- Track finals
- Presentation of medals and appropriate Adrenaline Junkie Certificate to all drivers
- Finish/collection

How do I race regularly and most cheaply?
For regular visitors to the track the best option is the Driver Club Membership.
Buy online for £50 per year.
The price includes 2 races when you join- one to take straight away, one for your birthday.
Your new Membership makes you eligible to buy BUNDLES of 15 minute races in advance to use anytime- either one by one or all in one weekend!.
Buy 20 for £300- thats £15 for 15 minutes of racing.

What deals do you have for family karting?
We aim to make family karting the best possible value to encourage people into the sport.
If it were cheap you should be worried!
When you're hooked, you join our Driver Club HERE and buy bundles of races as little as £15 per race to practice when you buy 20, BUY 20 RACES HERE.

My child wants a party at WightKarting. How do I book?
Our Parties are renown for adrenaline fuelled fun & include:
- Full Safety Briefing for Children and young people (8-15 only)
- 2 x 15 minute sessions
- Use of Party Room so you may bring a cake and sing! (please warn us before you light candles though)
- Medals presented on the Podium, for each driver
- Branded balaclava to take home (and wear on their paper-round in years to come !!)
BOOKING: 6 drivers package is £250 age 8 – 11 years (2022 prices)
Additional drivers are charged at £42 (2022 prices)
Parents and adults can book as additional drivers but not as part of the 6 child places.

Is your S1 Sprint Race suitable for adult groups of 8-12 drivers?
For Groups of 8-20 want the track to themselves:
Priced at £55 per person our Sprint Race is ideal:
- 1.5- 3hours hours of enjoyment
- Track to yourselves
- All the gear you need
- 10 minute practice
- 10 minute qualifying
- 15 lap race for the runners up and top drivers

Are you a dog-friendly venue?
Yes,- you can leave your dog in the shelter and shade of our 'Mutt Pit' free of charge.
We have 4 kennels to keep your dog safe and cool provided. Here are our Rules:
- You must be driving at Wight Karting to utilise a kennel
- Please ask for a kennel lock at reception to secure your booking (cash deposit of £20 payable)
- Please bring your own water bowl and bed/blanket for your dog’s comfort
- Maximum stay is 2 hours
- Please clean up after your dog
- Owners remain fully responsible for their dogs at all times, Wight Karting and their staff team are not qualified or insured to handle your animal. We will not be held liable for any accidents, injury, or death.
Please note that we will inform the police of any dogs left in our kennels whilst owners leave our premises, or left in any vehicle in our car park which are in a stressed state!

Our Driver Club Members have access to bundles of drives pre-purchased which save much more than the standard prices. This membership is available at £50 per year, for 2 races and then you top up with bundles of 5,10, or 20 races :

We provide itineraries for the best days to inspire your team.
Look no further for your business’s inspirational, packaged Away Day.
Whether you need team training or retraining, brain storming, team bonding or just a bonus day: We can organise ferry, hotel accommodation, taxis and additional activities (e.g. lasertag, paintball, golf, watersports, clay pigeon shooting,) all close by, to make your mini break really productive.

What competitive racing have you for small groups ?
Our Team Endurance Race series
is monthly opportunity to race against a crowd of others and test your endurance .
Racing is usually on Saturday afternoons once a month.
We have 30+ drivers usually sign up in teams of 3.
Simply get 2 mates and yourself together, pay £150 entry fee, and have an awesome afternoon of fun.
- Arrive at allocated start time
- get our race gear on (welcome to bring your own)
- safety briefing and rules presented to all drivers
- half hour practice for your team to decide who has the most talent
- 1 hour endurance race with driver changes

What team building activities do you do?
We specialise in motivational, adrenaline filled experiences.
We can provide exclusive or shared use of our fabulous facilities to kick start your team’s performance.
We are available for Corporate bookings in groups of between 10 and 60 drivers, plus non-driving supporters (charged for beverages & food separately) during weekdays for :Sprint Races with trophies from £65 per person (+ vat), Half day, inc: 2 hrs track time, refreshments, buffet lunch (20+ drivers)
Team Endurance Races From £115 per person (+ vat) Full day, with lunch, inc 4hrs track time (30+ drivers)
(during our normal Arrive and Drive opening times), min 10 drivers **
EXAMPLE OF A FULL, EXCLUSIVE TRACK DAY
- 10.00am Registration – Tea/Coffee provided
- 10.30 Suiting up, Team allocation, format explanation, Safety Briefing
- 11.00 Track time heats,( format depends on numbers but minimum total driving of 30 minutes)
- 12.30 Lunch in La Babalu Diner- example menu- finger buffet/soup and garlic bread
- 1.30- Track time heats, finals
- 4pm Podium presentations, drinks in the Lounge to close.

Team building Endurance events for groups
From just £160 + Vat per kart (3-5 drivers per kart) minimum of 8 karts for the competition
You decide how many teams you want to take out (up to 12 karts)
We will create the right length event for you so drivers all get plenty of track time.
- Enjoy the maximum time on the track

Our 425m2 Clubhouse is fully accessible, close to Ryde and its easy transport links to the South-East. With exclusive use of part, or the full centre, our clients can customise their day utilising the on-site catering, trackside activities, training and classroom facility in our versatile, clean environment.
We have free wifi, baby changing facilities, changing rooms, showers for both men and women.
Our staff have a wide range of skills, backgrounds and experience to share with people from all walks of life and are great communicators. They are trained to be highly aware of safety, managing risks and balancing adrenaline fuelled fun with achievement and reward. All staff have undergone first aid training and senior staff have completed a DRB check.
We provide the venue, staff and karts, you just arrive and enjoy!

Do you do ladies only track nights?
From just £13 per race with training
- We offer Ladies Night by request with a minimum of 10 ladies having 3 races.
- Track bookings can be evenings, afternoons or a morning for your group.
- You could be the next Susie Wolff ! (a British racing driver who began her career in karting before eventually becoming the first woman in 22 years to take part in the Formula One race weekend at the British Grand Prix, at Silverstone).

How do you manage regarding the COVID-19 Pandemic?
We are a small, owner run, family business who take your safety as seriously as our own, therefore take this opportunity to explain the health, safety and hygiene planning & precautions:
- By taking limited numbers of pre-bookings available to 6 people online we can manage our flow of customers safely through their race experience. Further drivers are booked over the phone to ensure safe space for all.
- Our session times for Arrive & Drive are now 15 minutes; to best manage the number of times drivers may pass by one another in the building.

- Please remain in your car until your booked time arrives and then have only the lead driver (or parent) go to the Entrance; all remaining group members should wait in car until your host admits your group.
- We shall temperature check all visitors and any reading over 37.3 or above will be refunded or rearranged and asked to leave straight away
- Please use our extensive washroom facilities to WASH YOUR HANDS on arrival.
- All helmets and race suits will be issued to you by your host, cleaned by irradiating bacterial UV light technology.
- Your membership includes one new balaclava and cleaned race gloves to wear here & take home with you.
- We may conduct your Safety briefings outdoors in our open sided marquee where sessions contain mixed households.
- We will keep our clubhouse open for your comfort and ask you to respect social distancing rules
- Please use the installed hand sanitizers available in all areas of the entrance, clubhouse, briefing room and corridors
- We have trained all staff to clean all equipment and areas customers in line with government guidance, please respect their space and safety.
We will continue to learn and adapt or processes as official guidance from the UK Government and Public Health England develops.
