WKRKC Summer Series: Round 3
The third instalment of the WKRKC Summer Series got underway on Sunday 16th June. The championship, as usual, followed the same layout as the previous 2 rounds with a one-shot qualifying taking place prior to each race to decide the grid. With exceptional weather, all 12 drivers took to the track t battle it out for a spot on the podium.
Results
The results for the WKRKC Summer Series Round 3 are:
1st: Emerson Ridette climbed the top step of the podium in Round 3 with a total of 35 points. With a race win and a second-place finish, as well as two bonus points for fastest laps, Emerson displayed fantastic pace throughout the 3 races. Well driven Emerson, keep it up!
2nd: Louis Thornton claimed second place after a race win and a second-place finish, totalling 33 points. A solid drive from Louis who only missed out on the top spot due to Emerson’s fastest lap bonuses. Louis and Emerson seem to be developing a fierce rivalry on the track, with tightly contested battles over the last few rounds.
3rd: Max Downer completed the top 3 for Round 3 after a race win. Some good consistent driving from Max meant he ended up on a respectable 26 points after the 3 races.
