Winter series Round 3:

Round 3 took part on the 8/1/23, a wet and windy January morning on the standard track layout, as per usual each driver competed in 3 x 15 lap race heats, with their worst result of the three being dropped and the remaining results added together to give a total score.

Each heat saw very close racing throughout the field and a good mix of results,
the overall results were as close as they could get, with only 4 points separating the top 5 and only 1 point separating the top 3.

Overall, well done to Newport resident Lewis Hallett who came first on 30 points after taking a 1st and 3rd place in his two kept heats, Local Ryde Youngster Harvey Yates took 2nd also on 30 points with two 2nd place results and Dale Hunt took 3rd on 29 points with a hard-fought victory in his final heat to complement his 4th place finish in his other kept heat.
Special mention to Dom Clements for 4th place just a single point behind Dale in the overall results!

Round 4 will run on the reverse track layout and take place on the 12th of Feb at 10:30am.
