We’re OFF !! Another Isle of Wight Karting Rental Kart Championship Series for Summer 23 is underway!
All racers are after the cash prizemoney and a chance to win free driving for their next quarter of practice sessions.
Round 1 of the WKRKC saw 9 of the best Go-Karters on the island competing for top spot at the island’s only kart track!
This round was run on the reverse track layout, providing drivers with a new test, the weather also played a part in creating close and tight battles throughout.
Results:
1st – James Dziuba came First place on 35 points after getting a 1st and 2nd place in his meaningful heats.
2nd – Dale Hunt came Second on 30pts after taking 1st and 3rd in his meaningful heats.
3rd – Mike Jolliffe came Third also on 30pts also taking a 1st and 3rd in meaningful heats, losing out only on the dropped heat result being worse than Dales.
Round 2 will be on the 12th May running on the standard track layout, with a 5:30pm arrival.
Prizes – £150 shared for top 3 podium positions + Credits to race in Arrive & Drive
