June’s Team Endurance Race
June’s Open Team Endurance Race saw 5 Teams competing for the top spots in our most competitive team karting action in the 3rd of our endurance race series!
In these team endurance races consistency and quick driver changes are the key to victory.
Before the race kicked off there wasn’t an overall favourite for the win, with a couple of teams seemingly well balanced in terms of race pace. This showing in the practice where only 4 tenths of a second split the 1st and 4th fastest teams!
Practice Results
Everyone was raring to go for the final, prepared to go fast or go home! There were various tactics on display from the teams, with one team making a very early pitstop to try and take advantage of the bunching up that can happen at the start of a race.
During the race there were some fantastic overtakes made with hard but fair racing being seen throughout the hour and a half long race. Team Giraffes had an unfortunate incident during a pit stop which led to them having to swap karts but both team Giraffes and Demon tweeks were exchanging 1st place during the event.
FINAL RESULTS:
1st place – Team Demon Tweeks, DriverS – Dale Hunt, Dom Clements and Lewis Hallett ended up taking top spot after completing 147 laps in the final with consistent lap times and quick pit stops all round.
2nd Place – Team Giraffes, Drivers – Jordan Wheeler, Jack Goring and Hope Wood came a close second, ending up just 9 seconds behind after 147 laps!
3rd Place – Team PC Consultants, Drivers – Louis Thornton, Max Downer and Emmerson came in third ending up on 146 laps.

Our next Open Team Endurance race will be on the 22nd of July with a 5pm arrival time, all you need do is get a team of 2-4 drivers together and book in for the best team racing action we provide!
