‘Open’ Team Endurance Season gets underway

….was the message of our Team Managers to their drivers before the race on Saturday! It was the 1st in a series of ‘Open’ Team Endurance Races at Wight Karting.

11 teams of local drivers aged 12 to 48 took to the track for a competitive fun event; many of whom were dads and lads!

For each team of 3, consistency and well-timed driver changes were the key to victory. The final saw some great racing, hard fought battles and the odd spin out!

1st Team Demon Tweeks Racing* managed an impressive 142 laps with very slick driver changes and average lap times well below 35 seconds!

2nd The Banbury Bandits**, with 140

3rd Team A.K.S*** from our very own Junior Academy program, putting in 139 laps

Business Teams ‘Judd Developments LTD’ – (Team Better Luck Next Year) were the fastest only just outscoring PC Consultants by 1 lap!  So Judd win a years free trackside advertising
