Round 4 of the WKRKC was another sell-out event with a full grid of 12 drivers competing for top spot over 3 – 15 lap heats, this time saw wet and windy weather giving a good test of driver’s abilities to handle the karts on a slippery track!
As always, each race saw thrills and a few spills with bumper-to-bumper racing throughout the field, with each driver trying to maximize their finishing positions for those all-important race points.
Results:
1st – Jack Goring again took a dominant win with 36 points after taking 2 race wins from his meaningful heats and managing to convert a last place start to a race win in his first heat!
2nd – Mike Jolliffe (Moke) came second not too far behind on 31 points taking two second place finishes and a fastest lap bonus point in his first heat.
3rd – Simon Johnstone came in third place on 25 points taking a second and fourth place finish in his meaningful heats.
