Round 6 saw the final round of the summer series of the WKRKC and everything was still to be decided, Jack Goring started the day at the top of the table knowing he just needed to gain 9 points to secure the title, Dale Hunt was the only person who could possibly overtake him, Dale also had a battle on for 2nd or 3rd with Harvey Yates only 6 points behind.
As always the racing was incredibly close and tense to watch. With each heat being won by a different driver.
Heat 1
A strong win from second on the grid by James Dziuba, also taking the fastest lap to gain the maximum 19 points from heat one. Closely followed by Jack Goring who, after gaining 15 points from heat 1 was unbeatable in the championship!
Heat 2
Heat 2 saw a very close battle for the top spot with Charlie Digweed keeping Louis Thornton behind to claim the 18 points for heat two victory!
Heat 3
The third and final heat saw Hope Wood claim 1st place, with a very strong defense from Dale Hunt who was following closely behind for most of the race.
Overall Results
1st – James Dziuba took the overall win with a score of 31. Securing one race win and a third place finish in his two meaningful heats.
2nd – Dale Hunt took second place ending up on 25 points with 1 second place and a fourth place finish in his meaningful heats.
3rd – Charlie Digweed completed the top three with 24 points, taking a race win and a sixth place finish in his meaningful heats.
This rounds off the summer series of the WKRKC, a big thank you to all drivers who took part over the months.
We now move onto our winter series starting on the 13th of October. There will be 6 rounds in the winter series with the final round set to be in March 2024.
The winter series will see a two-class championship with Lightweight and Middleweight classes. This promises to be a close and competitive series. Booking early is required to secure your slots for this expanding and popular championship!

The Championship Table
Congratulations go to Jack Goring for winning the summer series of the WKRKC. Jack raced with precision and a decisive edge to make overtakes look easy throughout the series. Using all of his experience from racing his own kart on the mainland to claim victory!
Dale Hunt claimed second place overall with an impressive 130 points consistently scoring over 20 points in most of his races, showing a consistent edge. He also claimed a bonus 5 points for competing in every round of the series.
Harvey Yates came third overall with a total of 113 points. Showing great potential and the ability to constantly get strong results, keeping his nerve when a good result is required.
